Playtime

Our aunt gave us “Jour de Fête” and “Mon Oncle” movies as Christmas presents when we were young. Since we are loving all Jacques Tati’s movies. Tati, as a mime, develops his own universe but invites us to look at our world. Witness to a growing consumeristic society, he warns us about communication lack, privacy exposure and the inhumanity of the emerging modern world. Every Tati’s movie is a piece of art thanks to his collaboration with Jacques Lagrange, painter belonging to the Nouvelle Ecole de Paris. Playtime is one of our favorite movie and we would love to have Mr. Hulot as uncle.
